Royals First Words: Prince Louis Culinary Inspired Introductory Vocabulary

Royals First Words: Prince Louis Culinary Inspired  Introductory Vocabulary

Let's face it, we all get a tad giddy when a baby utters their first word. More often than not, it's a straight-up 'mama', a gleeful 'dada', a beloved pet’s name, or a simple 'ball'. But here’s the fun bit: our young Prince Louis threw a culinary curveball for his first word, and it is nothing less than delightfully offbeat!

In a resurfaced clip, Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, shared this little gem from her son's infancy that connects his first word directly to her favorite pastime - baking! Say whaaat? Yes, you heard it right, the tot's first word was inspired by an esteemed character from one of Kate's favorite baking shows.

In the said clip from the year 2019, the royal couple were gracing an occasion alongside celebrity baking queen Mary Berry. In a moment that might make your heart skip a beet (pun intended), Kate confesses that one of Louis’s first words was 'Mary'.

Shedding some more light on this sweet revelation, Kate gushed, 'One of Louis’ first words was ‘Mary’ because right at his height are all my cooking books in the kitchen. And children are really fascinated by faces, and your faces are all over your cooking books and he would say, ‘That’s Mary Berry’. So he would definitely recognize you if he saw you.'

Sounds like a Mary Berry fan in the making, doesn’t it? No one can resist the allure of a freshly baked loaf, not even our tiny, royal highness! It's a charming mix of sentimental and unpredictable, a characteristic trait we associate with the youngest Welsh tad.

Speaking of first words, it seems that the Welsh progeny have a flair for breaking the typical 'mama'-'dada' mantra. Princess Charlotte chimed her first word as 'pop' on spotting a balloon. As for Prince George, his first word remains a mystery, but there's some juicy speculation. Could it have been 'bilby', an Aussie marsupial, considering he was touring Australia when he supposedly spoke his first word? Well, we might never know, but it sure adds another twist in the tale of regal first words.

Remember, amidst all this adorable chit-chat, William and Kate have a heart full of joy and hands full of responsibilities, bringing up their three charming offspring - Prince George, 9, Princess Charlotte, 8, and Prince Louis, 5. The royal children are not only treasured by their parents but are adored by millions across the globe for their wit, charisma and their ability to surprise us in the sweetest of ways!
