Prince William Reveals Adorable Details About Princess Charlotte At Huge Royal Event
Princess Charlotte has wowed royal fans with her poise and grace at several very high profile events in the last year and one person who is incredibly proud of her is her father, Prince WilliamThe Prince of Wales revealed Princess Charlotte loves to dance during a meeting with the Maltese prime minister and his family.
Prince William was speaking with Joseph Muscat's wife Michelle Muscat at a Commonwealth Day reception back in 2018 when he shared the adorable detail. Mr Muscat was also joined by the couple's twin daughters Etoile Ella and Soleil Sophie. He joked with the 10-year-old girls saying "It's a bit colder than Malta" at the event staged by the Commonwealth Secretariat at its London home Marlborough House.
Other guests included the Prince of Wales, Duchess of Cornwall, high commissioners and former prime minister Sir John Major, and the event was hosted by Baroness Scotland, the Commonwealth's secretary-general. When Mrs Muscat said her children were attending a stage school, William replied: "My daughter Charlotte loves dancing."
As well as being a keen dancer, the little princess could also speak two languages by the time she was just two years old. By the time she started nursery school, the young princess had already mastered English and was also using Spanish phrases, picked up from her Spanish nanny. A source told People magazine that Princess Charlotte is "very sweet and very confident", and has mastered a number of Spanish words.
Along with her elder brother, Prince George, and younger sibling, Prince Louis, Charlotte attends Lambrook School in Berkshire. The royal children are currently on their summer break and are believed to be planning some holidays with their parents, Prince William and Kate Middleton.
But when she's at school, the young royal goes by a different name as is treated as any other pupil. Princess Charlotte's full name is Charlotte Elizabeth Diana, and her official title is Her Royal Highness Princess Charlotte of Cambridge. Both of these are a bit of a mouthful, and we can't imagine the kids in the playground or her teachers using them. Therefore, she follows in the footsteps of her older brother and other members of her family and uses her parents title as her surname. Therefore, she is known as Charlotte Cambridge.
