Royal Family News: The Difference Between Prince William And Prince Harry’s Marriages, Kate “Screened” for the Job, Harry Married For Love

British royal family news reveals that Prince William and Princess Kate and Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are frequently compared and contrasted, the men being the heir and spare of King Charles. The former couple married in 2011 while the latter married in 2018.

Today William and Kate are the Prince and Princess of Wales while Harry and Meghan are Hollywood hoboes. H and M have lit their lives on fire and not in a good way.

As one royal expert put it, “everything” they could have done wrong, they accomplished. Now the one glaring difference in their marriages shines a light on what the future could hold for the two couples who could not be more different.

According to The List, Prince William and Prince Harry had different approaches to their personal lives which spilled over to their dating lives.

William was groomed to be the heir to the throne, went to St. Andrews and stayed out of trouble while Harry partied, was sent to faux rehab, had fun dressing as a Nazi and is the only known royal to be sent to sensitivity training for an offensive slur against someone of another culture. In 2016 Harry and Meghan had a modern meet-up on Instagram and in record speed they were engaged in 2017 and married in 2018. In fact the quickie nature of this union is said to be one reason the brothers are warring.

In contrast Kate and William met in 2001 and got engaged in 2010. At one point William even dumped the future queen of England! An insider told People of their relationship “Some people might say it’s an old-fashioned marriage, but it seems to work.”

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s love story hits different: they met as “adults” she was divorced, his flings legendary. They folded under pressure and in January 2020 ran away from the palace to become the most loathed royal couple on the face of the planet. In record time. See a pattern here?

But the main difference on display in these two royal marriages according to the outlet is that William “screened” Kate for the “the job” while Harry “married for love.” In other words, Kate was vetted for her fit as the nation’s future queen while Harry married the love of his life.
