Kate Middleton has serious problem brewing with Princess Charlotte warns expert

Royal expert Daniela Elser has warned that Kate Middleton and Prince William 'cannot let inequality take hold' with regards to Prince George and Princess Charlotte

Kate Middleton and Prince William have a "serious problem brewing" with Princess Charlotte, a royal expert has claimed.

Last weekend Prince George was spotted at the Ashes with his father, seen in the stands tucking into pizza and rubbing shoulders with the likes of Rishi Sunak and Stephen Fry.

It isn't the first time he's been spotted at such an occasion either, having previously attended England football and rugby games.

Writing for news.com.au, royal expert Daniela Elser highlighted how "it has been George and only George who has been ‘treated’ to these particular days out".

Kate could have a 'problem brewing', Elser said

She noted how Charlotte is around the same age George was when he started attending sports matches. She did attend an Aston Villa game with her father, mother and brother in 2018 "but we have never seen this repeated and that was a private outing", Elser said.

She added: "If we don’t start to see Charlotte make her debut at a similarly global and official outing in the next few weeks, then it will look like there is a serious problem brewing.

"Because if we were to see, say, only George next week at Wimbledon and not his sister too, it would start to look like a horrible replay of heir versus spare, the first and second class treatment afforded to William and Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex."

'It would start to look like a horrible replay of heir versus spare...'

In his bombshell memoir Spare - aptly named - Harry spoke at length about the impact of being treated differently to William when they were kids.

"I was brought into the world in case something happened to Willy," he wrote. He said his life was a "mission to offer a source of distraction, entertainment and, in case of need, a spare part" such as a kidney or bone marrow.

Elser writes that Kate and William "simply cannot let this sort of inequality take hold" with their children, arguing that we have seen the consequences play out already with Harry.
