Royal Family News: The Real Reason Why Prince Andrew Feels ‘Depressed’
Royal Family News suggests that he’s having a very hard time being just another “normal” person behind closed palace doors these days.
Of course, we are talking about Prince Andrew, as there’s a new report that suggests the Duke of York is feeling “very depressed” and “completely lost” without his royal life. Here’s what you need to know.
As many royal fans know by now, Prince Andrew was stripped from his royal life and all of the benefits and perks that come with it when he was accused of sexual assault and having sex with a minor.
If that weren’t enough, the monarchy was also pretty embarrassed of Prince Andrew for his association with disgraced but also dead financier, Jeffrey Epstein. However, Prince Andrew has maintained his innocence and believes that he’s done nothing wrong
Royal expert Ingrid Seward recently told GB News that Prince Andrew has been trying to slowly reintegrate into royal life, but it hasn’t been working out very well for him. That’s mostly because no one wants him there.
She put it this way, “Remember, he’s never known anything else except military and royal, and he’s not adaptable, he’s not popular, and therefore he has not been able to find anything else in his life so far as we know. So he really is in a gilded cage, unable really to do anything.”
While Prince Andrew still makes appearances here and there, he’s been mostly barred from attending royal festivities, royal engagements and public appearances with the royal family. And it looks like that’s not going to change anytime soon.
She continued, “He’s never apologized to those women and I think he just doesn’t understand what he’s done. I think he’s completely lost and I’m sure he’s probably very very depressed, especially seeing all his family riding at the Trooping on Saturday when only a few years before he was doing the same thing.”
