Princess of Wales Kate Middleton’s True Nature Revealed as British Tennis Star Recalls Stunning Account at Wimbledon – ‘She Was Cracking..’

British tennis welcomes its newest star, Katie Boulter, by featuring her on the cover of Tatler magazine. She was featured on the front page alongside ATP stars Cameron Norrie and Jack Draper. After winning her first title in Nottingham, the Briton entered the WTA top 100 for the first time in her career. At the same time, Boulter dethroned Emma Raducanu to become the highest-ranked WTA player from Britain.

In her interview with Tatler, Boulter recalled some of her finest memories of her tennis career. She spoke about her boyfriend Alex de Minaur and how it is to be a tennis couple. The Briton added some of her Wimbledon memories and the one that included Kate Middleton caught everyone’s eye.

Boulter recalls her interaction with Kate Middleton

The British number 1 recalled the time when she was lucky enough to watch a Wimbledon encounter alongside the now Dutchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton. She described the Dutchess as a charming person. Boulter said via Tatler, “She was cracking jokes… she was really enjoying the tennis. She was surprising… and absolutely stunning.”

Boulter further added that it wasn’t her first-ever royal family interaction. She took a trip down memory lane and recalled when she had an encounter with the late Queen Elizabeth II. The Briton said, “I remember she asked if we still do schooling [alongside our tennis]. As a 14-year-old kid, my answer was pretty long-winded.” The Queen had also asked Boulter about where she lived to which Boulter humorously replied, “As if the Queen is going to pop round for tea!

After years of hard work, Boulter is finally getting the recognition she deserves. With her regular improvements, she will be eager to make a deep run at Wimbledon. Given her past grass court results, the Briton will be a threat to top seeds in the early rounds.

What are Boulter’s chances for Wimbledon?

Boulter is far from being a favorite for the title, but she can certainly be one of the dark horses. She will be entering the Championship, having won a grass court title. At last year’s Wimbledon, she upset the 6th seed and defending runner-up Karolina Pliskova in three sets to prove that her ranking does no justice to her skill level.
